Drug Milestone Timeline
- Drug detail pages now include a 1) drug milestone timeline summary in the overview tab and 2) a new Milestone tab with several advanced filters to provide users with an in-depth timeline of all the key development milestones for the drug, including the first IND application, first clinical trials, first NDA, and first approval.
R&D Progress Gantt Chart
- A new 'R&D Progress' tab displays more detailed insights into the R&D and clinical progress of a drug for each target indication in the form of a Gantt chart, with links to the relevant clinical trials and/or results for further exploration of key development events.
Drugs mined from patents
- A new 'Patent Mining' tag and filter is applied to drug entities to inform users of new drug projects that are specifically 'mined' or extracted from patents. For this release, a total of 3k drug entities have been mined.
Improved entity-related news sources
- In an effort to improve the relevancy of news linked to drugs, indications, and other entities in Synapse, we've optimized our manual and model processing methods to include only the most highly related news sources.
