Data type overview
Eureka processes 2+ billion data points through a four-stage pipeline spanning 20 specialized domains (patents, biomedicine, scientific innovation). This structured approach reduces AI hallucinations and improves output reliability through comprehensive data governance.
Data retrieval overview
Eureka connects you to specialized knowledge databases—patents, research papers, and technical documentation—using advanced AI retrieval methods called RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and RAT (Retrieval-Augmented Thinking).
Why it works: RAG ensures you get current, verifiable information from live databases rather than potentially outdated AI knowledge. Every technical detail can be traced to its source, critical for patent work and research citations. RAT incorporates multi-step reasoning that enables the connection of information across sources, while also considering both technical accuracy and business relevance.
How it works: Eureka understands what you're looking for and then utilizes RAT algorithms to find and rank the most relevant information, striking a balance between technical precision and strategic value.
The result? Instead of spending hours searching through documents, get precise, evidence-backed answers with comprehensive analysis. Every response meets professional standards and includes the technical details you need to make informed decisions quickly.

Literature
What is happening in an industry will be published in scientific publications before even a patent is applied for. Following scientific publications will help identify partners, understand future trends in the industry and make informed R&D decisions while staying ahead of the curve.
Eureka’s academic paper coverage includes over 206 million papers from approximately 50,000 journals. We get this data from CrossRef, which is updated on a monthly basis. You can see a list of the top journals here.
Market reports
Market reports allow you to understand the overall market situation of a product or a group of products and services. It reflects the market situation of a product or service in terms of its price, demand, supply, volume of transactions, market structure trend and so on.
Eureka sources over 616,800 market reports, analyzed from over 800 industries. The data includes market insights and analysis to enable intelligent decision-making.
Eureka provides information on the companies involved in a specific market category. You will be able to view the distribution of both the location and age of top companies operating in a sector, which can be filtered using various refinement options.
Metal alloy database
We've built the most comprehensive metal alloy database in the industry. With ~1.6 million entries and counting, our robust data now surpasses CAS (~1,000,000 entries) in alloy coverage.
MACE is our in-house model that automatically extracts metal alloy composition data directly from patents, providing comprehensive, high-quality datasets that exceed industry standards like CAS.
Patents
We currently have over 200 million patents from 172 jurisdictions. Eureka’s patent data is sourced from our Analytics platform, which draws from various patent offices worldwide. If you have an Analytics license, then you can see our exact data coverage for patents here.
You can access this data through a list view, where you can filter the results to meet your needs. We have extracted data fields, including application and publication dates, current assignee, authority, legal status, IPC code, and additional information.
