The news article pages in Synapse are now optimized to provide more useful information that can assist in the drug discovery process by allowing you to quickly refine and identify relevant articles. The first update consists of new key categories. They give you a sense of what the category of this news article is, such as R&D, investment, Deals, Policy, etc. The news article below, for example, is related to R&D.
For the next update, we've added three new boxes on the right-hand side of the page, "Related information", "Related news", and "Next". Viewing "related information" gives you access to organizations, targets, indications, and drugs that have been tagged. In addition, we've generated some other general tags that you can use to learn more about the news article. For example, the article below is about “Immunotherapy”. In the “Related news” section, you will see up to five related news articles, based on the one that you're reading right now. In the "Next" section at the bottom, you can jump to the next list. The articles will open in separate tabs, so if you are accessing quite a few news articles at the same time, they will just keep opening in separate tabs, preventing you from having to navigate between articles on the same page.
