Product Update: January 2023

Search & Review

• The patent valuation section within patent view has been updated to be more transparent of the input metrics
• Users are able to search for patents using the field search via workspace folders.

• There is a limit of 1 million patents able to be searched
• There is a limit of 20 folders that are able to be selected

• The logic behind searching for patents based on the size/count of their simple family has been changed to calculate based on application number.

• The search syntax for this is  FAM_COUNT:[num1 to num2]

Workspace

• Bulk patent number importing has been further optimized within the workspace

• Users are now given an option to “exact match”
• Users are now given an option to “fuzzy match”

• Users can now better specify the type of controls given to shared users, for interaction with the following fields:

• Custom Fields
• Comments

• Custom field filtering within the workspace has been improved
• Users can now locate specific folders while in a workspace using the “search” (magnifying glass) button
