Cascading Filter for Technical Output

This feature allows you to directly select the technology to which the technical output is referring, allowing you to further customize your filters. This option has been added because it provides more options to specify a search based on technology and its effect. This filter works through PatSnap's AI technology that uses patent text data to train the model. Through this model, patent data is extracted and processed, and the 'Technical Output" that can accurately describe the direction of the patent optimization is obtained. Please note that this field currently only supports the screening of American and Chinese patents.

To use this filter, you can click on the "Material Workflow" or "All Filters" buttons near the top of the page to open up the filter area where the "Technical Output Selection Panel" sits under. After selecting a topic from the left side of the popup, the technical output options will be shown on the right side. You are then able to select the phrases of interest after which the patents that meet the conditions will be displayed on the search result page.
