Expert Search Report (FTO Report)

Expert search projects can now be associated with a workspace folder. Enabling users to export up to 1000 patents from the associated workspace, and generate search report templates for projects, based of patent information from the associated workspace.

You can find the export area by hovering a project name.

These two export options (Project Records, and Project Report) are only available when a project has been associated with a workspace folder.

How to associate a project with a folder:

  1. First, you need to edit your project by clicking the pen icon
  2. Select the tick the box titled "link to a workspace folder"
  3. Select the workspace folder you will link to the project

You can only link one folder to a project, and you can change the linked workspace by editing the project.

Project Records

Project Records are the patents in the folder associated with the project, and the export order is consistent with the order in the workspace folder.

These are exported as PDF documents in a ZIP folder.

Project report

  • Publication Number
  • Application Date
  • Estimated Expiration Date
  • Current Assignee Title
  • Abstract
  • Independent Claims
