How to exclude an Assignee from the results?

Once you have conducted your search you often would like to refine the results to best suit your goal.

This will allow you to analyse the results that actually matter. 

Often if you are looking at your own technology area you would get your own patents which you might want to exclude. To do this you have the following options below.

1. Click on the Assignee name that would like to include the results for
2. Click Exclude

The search would then now change to refine the results by excluding other Assignees.
